Maidstone have released striker Joseph N'Guessan - but he could be back in the summer.
The former QPR and Stevenage youngster joined United before Christmas, shortly after a trial at Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock.
He made his debut as a substitute at Dover on Boxing Day, followed by a couple more appearances from the bench.
Stones boss Jay Saunders rates N'Guessan but decided to let him go following the arrival of Joe Piggott from Cambridge.
However, Stones fans may not have seen the last of him.
Saunders said: "Joseph's desperate to play regular football.
"When Joe Pigott became available, I just felt it was the right decision to move him on and get some football.
"I’ve sort of said to him maybe in pre-season if things don’t work out for him elsewhere I’d like to have him in again.
"It was just the fact we could get Joe with his experience and I felt he would play a bigger part."
