Maidstone have signed winger Alex Osborn on a two-month loan deal from Kent rivals Ebbsfleet.
He's set to train with his new team-mates on Thursday and has been given permission by Fleet to play in this weekend's FA Cup tie against South Park or Leatherhead.
But he won't be eligible to face his parent club when United visit Fleet in National League South on October 3.
Osborn impressed against the Stones while on loan at Hayes & Yeading earlier this season.
He's a player Maidstone looked into signing last season and again this year but his move to Hayes had already been agreed.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "I thought he was Hayes & Yeading's best player against us. He's something different to what we've got.
"He can play left or right and up top, he's got good pace and he works hard.
"We've got a lot of big games coming up and he gives us options.
"He was available for a month but I spoke to Daryl McMahon (Fleet boss) and he's allowed us to have him for two months, plus he can play in the FA Cup.
"In a way I'm surprised we got him but I knew Ebbsfleet were willing to let him out and that he didn't want to stay at Hayes.
"He saw what we were all about when he played here and said he'd love to come down."
