Maidstone have made Jack Paxman available for loan for the second time this season.
Paxman recently returned from a month at East Thurrock but still can't force his way into the Stones team.
The popular midfielder has Stuart Lewis and Jai Reason in front of him and boss Jay Saunders feels he needs to get minutes under his belt elsewhere.
Saunders said: "I've had a good chat with Pax and I've said to him we need to get him out.
"He's fully aware if I'm looking at the side at the moment, Stuart Lewis and Jai Reason have been excellent and I think that's the sort of area I'd look to play Pax and they're ahead of him.
"We've circulated his name so we'll see what comes back on that front.
"It's hard to break in and Pax is someone that just needs to go out and get games elsewhere and get a change of scenery and kick on.
"We had a good chat and he said straight away 'I can't argue with how Stu and Jai have done.'
"It's been tough for him because he's someone I've got a lot of time for and a lot of respect for, I get on really well with him on and off the field.
"I just think it's been one of those seasons where he's not been able to get going."
Jack Richards has joined Eastbourne on loan, Harry Phipps is back at Welling, while Harley Willard is set to go out on loan once he's recovered from injury.
