Midfielder Jack Powell has left Ebbsfleet to sign for Kent rivals Maidstone.
The 24-year-old free-kick specialist is available for Saturday's National League game at AFC Fylde.
Powell's signing comes just one day after club captain Stuart Lewis quit the Stones to join Dover.
Maidstone boss Harry Wheeler said: "This is another important signing for the club.
“Jack is a great character with Football League experience, and is another player who comes to us with experience of reaching the playoffs in this league.
“He is a goalscoring midfielder who has scored something like twenty goals in the last two seasons, with ten of those coming in the National League last year.
“He will bring goals and assists and will take the reliance off other players to do certain jobs within the team.”
Powell netted 24 goals in 109 games for the Fleet, helping them win promotion from National League South in his first season before assisting the Fleet to reach the play-offs last year.
He will need little introduction to regulars at the Gallagher Stadium - after scoring twice for Ebbsfleet against Maidstone in January.
Powell, who has penned a deal until the end of the season, becomes the second permanent signing for Maidstone on Friday after Simon Walton was snapped up from Billericay having previously been on loan.
