Both sides scored an own goal as Maidstone drew with AFC Fylde.
Aron Davies put through his own net as the Coasters led at half-time.
But the Stones grabbed a point after Danny Philliskirk diverted Jake Robinson’s shot past keeper Jay Lynch.
United finished strongly but couldn’t force a winner against a Fylde outfit who had earlier been well on top.
Jake Cassidy went straight into the starting XI after returning on loan from Hartlepool for the rest of the season.
He had little to feed off in a first half which saw promotion-chasing Fylde dominate possession.
Maidstone were largely untroubled early on, restricting the visitors to harmless shots from distance from Philliskirk and Ash Hemmings.
Fylde started to look more threatening midway through the half with Hemmings, now regularly running at the home defence, rolling a good chance wide when in space on the edge of the area.
Shortly after, Dion-Curtis Henry did well to tip Dan Bradley’s strike on to the bar.
Fylde took the lead in bizarre circumstance in the 28th minute.
Hemmings found Bradley whose cross was turned into his own net by Davies.
Linesman Abi Marriott put her flag up for offside but referee Carl Brook went for a chat and overruled her, presumably deciding no Fylde player had been interfering with play.
Henry got down to save Philliskirk’s first-time strike just after the break, while top scorer Danny Rowe missed the target from Nick Haughton’s deflected cross as Fylde continued to have the upper hand.
But for a team so comfortable on the ball it was a loose pass in midfield that helped Maidstone back into the game on the hour.
Dan Wishart intercepted, broke forward and freed substitute Robinson whose shot was turned in by Philliskirk a yard out.
That lifted both the crowd and the players although Henry had to to make a flying save from Rowe.
Maidstone went close to a second in the 74th minute, Robinson using the pace on Ollie Muldoon’s free-kick to head goalwards but Lynch brilliantly palmed the ball on to the post.
Bradley threatened at the other end after good work by Rowe in the box, while Simon Walton’s deflected strike was held.
