Hundreds of runners will pound the streets of Maidstone and country lanes of the surrounding villages this Sunday with the annual running of the Maidstone Half-Marathon.

The race - which is organised by Maidstone Harriers AC - starts at 9.30am from Valley Park School on Huntsman Lane.

The 13-mile route heads out from the east side of Maidstone and takes in Bearsted, Hollingbourne and Thurnham before returning along the Pilgrims Way.

Entry is available on the day and costs £15. All finishers will receive an award.
