Delano Sam-Yorke is the third player to leave Maidstone United today.
The striker follows Joe Anderson and Reece Prestedge in being released by the Stones.
Sam-Yorke made a big impact on loan from Woking last season, earning a permanent move in the summer.
He worked tirelessly but scored only one National League goal and it comes as little surprise to see him depart.
The 29-year-old made more than 40 appearances in all competitions, the highlight being his double in the 4-2 FA Cup win at Cheltenham, although he was later sent off.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: “I think D would be the first to admit that this has been a difficult season for him.
"He’s one of those lads who gives you 110% and I know he’s been frustrated that the workrate hasn’t been matched by goals.
“For me, the highlights of his time here would be that loan spell last season where he made such an impact and games like Cheltenham this season where, despite getting sent off, he was outstanding, scoring those two goals and running their defence ragged.
“We wish him all the best and thank him for all he’s done for the club.”
