Maidstone v Wealdstone
Alan Walker is tipping talented teenager Chris Smalling to go all the way to the top.
The 18-year-old England Schoolboy defender, a product of the Stones youth scheme, who impressed during a trial with Premiership side Middlesbrough last month, scored his first senior goal for the club last week.
Walker said: "I was delighted for the boy, he has been our best centre-half, an outstanding prospect with a great future, and I am sure he can go all the way.
"He made an impact at Middlesbrough, and they were very impressed, but has had a couple of other offers, and is weighing up his options.
"He is a sensible lad who is completing his studies and getting his qualifications."
One downside for Stones is the fact that Smalling is available for only two more games due to his international commitments, as the fight to stay in the Ryman League Premier Division enters the final month.
Rob Owen and Lee Shearer are available for Saturday's game at home to Wealdstone on Saturday, after suspension, skipper Ben Lewis is a major doubt with a back injury, while Nick Hegley (ankle) and Sam Tydeman (groin) also need fitness tests.
