Maidstone increased their lead at the top of the Ryman League Premier Division table after picking up maximum points at Wingate & Finchley.
Frannie Collin gave Maidstone the lead in the 19th minute, finding space 20 yards out before drilling a shot into the top corner.
Collin then doubled Stones' advantage eight minutes before the break, slotting home from the penalty spot.
Billy Bricknell almost increased Stones' advantage in the second half, but his shot was saved by the home keeper.
The result leaves them six points clear after Dulwich Hamlet, who were second before the start of play, suffered a shock 3-0 home defeat against Canvey Island.
Margate moved up to second place after beating bottom side Bury Town 3-0.
