Aldershot's perfect start to the season changes nothing for Maidstone boss Jay Saunders.
The sides meet at the Gallagher tonight with United looking for their first victory of the season against a Shots side who've won all three of their National League games.
Gary Waddock's team put six past Guiseley at the weekend and boast the only 100% record but while Saunders appreciates how good they are, it doesn't change his thinking.
He said: "They’re a very open side, they play good football, there’s loads of legs in the team, they’re quite young, so it’s going to be a difficult game for us.
"But there isn’t an easy game in this league so it doesn’t matter who you play, we’ve just got to worry about ourselves.
"If we keep doing that and keep trying to do the right things then I’m sure things will change.
"We’re not far off. We just need that little breakthrough."
Jamar Loza, Johan ter Horst and Alex Finney are injured but Magnus Okuonghae is fit after sitting out the first three games.
Stuart Lewis, meanwhile, serves the second match of a three-game ban following his red card at Ebbsfleet last week.
Saunders said: "The bench at the moment is very stretched but it’s not excuses because I’ve been quite pleased with the performances.
"It's a stronger side than last year and the performances have been better as well.
"We're not far off picking up points - we've just got to cut out the silly mistakes."
