Maidstone have signed midfielder Clovis Kamdjo from National South rivals St Albans.
The 28-year-old, who's played in the Football League with Barnet, arrives at the Gallagher on a one-year deal.
Stones head coach Hakan Hayrettin said: "Clovis is a big, strong lad who's played in higher leagues and has the potential to do that again.
"He's a man and we need men. We're happy to have him on board."
Kamdjo started his career at Reading before making 104 appearances for Barnet, and he also had spells with Salisbury, Forest Green, Boreham Wood and York City before joining St Albans last summer.
Indeed, he scored for York against the Stones on the opening day of the 2016/17 National League season, a match that ended 1-1.
The Stones new boy said: "I am really happy to get the deal over the line and looking forward to next season.
"I know the managers and what they'll be expecting from every player coming back.
"First and foremost I'm an honest player. I will give everything.
"I'm big, strong, good in the air, and I've got the experience of being in this league and the two above.
"I come with a lot of experience and every now and then I chip in with a goal."
