Maidstone United are just one game away from the FA Cup First Round proper after winning 2-0 at Biggleswade Town on Saturday.
Matt Bodkin's goal on 76 minutes, poking home after a goalmouth scramble set The Stones on their way before Alex Flisher doubled the advantage five minutes from time as Maidstone progressed to the fourth qualifying round.
Maidstone started the game well with Flisher twice going close, seeing headers just miss the target in the first 10 minutes.
Jay May was the next to threaten the Biggleswade goal, but his effort was saved as Stones had the better of the opening half, forcing many corners and keeping home keeper Ian Brown busy, with Frannie Collin also seeing a shot saved.
However, it was Biggleswade who had the best chance of the half six minutes before half-time, when with the goal gaping, Lee Smith fired wide.
In the second half May again went close, while at the other end Biggleswade tested Stones keeper Lee Worgan who tipped over a stinging drive.
However, Maidstone got what they deserved, scoring twice in the final 14 minutes to book their place in the next round.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Bromley were held to a goalless draw at Grays Athletic, while Ebbsfleet were beaten at home by Basingstoke 2-1.
