MAIDSTONE UNITED come face to face with former manager Jim Ward when they visit Ramsgate tonight in the Ryman League Premier Division.
Ward, who managed the Stones in their Kent League days, has taken Ramsgate from the Kent League through to the Ryman League Premier Division.
Maidstone, who are next to bottom in the table with just one win from five games, will be looking to bounce back from Friday's 1-0 defeat by Staines,
The Stones welcome back midfielder Andy Martin after illness but striker Lynden Rowland is out with a hamstring strain.
Midfielder Sam Tydeman remains out of contention through suspension but is also struggling with a hamstring injury.
"Because of injuries and suspensions, we've not been able to name a settled side," said joint manager Alan Walker. "Hopefully that will change quickly because we need consistency."
Ramsgate, who have taken seven points from their first five league games, come into the match on the back of a 3-0 defeat at Harlow on Saturday.
