Maidstone United stole the show on FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round day with a 10-0 demolition of Littlehampton Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Sussex County League Division 1 side were able to hold out for 12 minutes infront of more than 1,300 at the Gallagher Stadium, however after Ben Greenhalgh opened the scoring, it was all one-way traffic.
Frannie Collin made it 2-0 from a 19th-minute penalty, and after Greenhalgh had netted his second just after the half-hour, Collin did likewise three minutes before half-time.
There was still time for Jack Parkinson to add a fifth before the break, and within two minutes of the turnaround Alex Flisher made it 6-0 as the onslaught continued.
Greenhalgh was taken-off just after the hour, without having completed his hat-trick, however his replacement Jay May made it 7-0 within seconds of entering the fray.
The eighth arrived within two minutes from Sonny Miles and it was 9-0 after 71 minutes through an own-goal from Josh Bates.
There was however a let-up of sorts as the Stones only added one more goal, Collin completing his treble six minutes from time, to ensure Maidstone’s place in Monday’s draw.
