The 24-year-old also played against the Stones for Hemel Hempstead at the start of last season and is known in Kent from his spell at Dover.

He earned a Football League move in 2018, joining Colchester from Waltham Forest, and had a stint abroad with Finnish club SJK Seinajoki.

“I’m delighted to be here,” Krasniqi told Stones TV.

“I can’t wait to get started and I just want to thank the gaffer and everyone for bringing me in.

“I’m a player who likes to get on the ball, makes things happen, I’m a creative player and I’ll try and get a few more goals this year as well.”

Krasniqi played with fellow summer signings Jordan Higgs and Ben Brookes at Dover and Chelmsford respectively.
