Maidstone have signed Hull City striker Greg Luer on loan for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old trained with his new team-mates on Monday morning and could make his debut in the rearranged home game against Macclesfield on Wednesday night.
Stones boss Jay Saunders is a long-time admirer of the forward going back to his non-league days at Burgess Hill.
He joined the Tigers under Steve Bruce in January 2015, making his Championship debut the following season and scoring in League Cup ties against Accrington and Rochdale.
He also had loan spells at Port Vale, Scunthorpe and Stevenage and moves to the Gallagher after finding opportunities limited at Hull.
Saunders said: "He's someone I've known about for a long time.
"When we were in the Ryman Prem at the time he was at Burgess Hill and he was someone we kept an eye on.
"We were interested but he obviously went on to the Football League and we never got the opportunity to get him in.
"We've followed his progress and I just think our options at the moment for natural centre-forwards are probably limited.
"We've got Ross Lafayette until the end of the season but Sutton have got a 24-hour call-back on him and I expect them at some point to call him back if I'm honest with you."
