Maidstone striker Frannie Collin is going out on loan.
Collin has scored more than 50 goals in two years with United but is yet to get off the mark in Vanarama National League South this season.
He’s lost his place to Alex Akrofi and with Adam Birchall signing from Bromley this week, boss Jay Saunders has made Collin available for a month.
Saunders said: “Frannie needs a run of games to get his sharpness. He started the first two games but Alex has come in and done well and now we’ve signed Birch.
“There’s no point in him being sat on the bench and coming on for five or 10 minutes here and there.
“If he goes out, starts playing regularly and scores a few goals, it will only help his confidence.”
Collin will be the second player to go out on loan after midfielder James Rogers joined Folkestone for a month on Tuesday.
Stones, 14th in the table, visit unbeaten Gosport Borough on Saturday. Captain Steve Watt is a doubt with a head injury that kept him out of Monday’s defeat by Chelmsford, so player-coach Jamie Coyle could continue alongside Manny Parry in defence.
