Maidstone have moved for a new central defender after conceding nine goals in their past two games.
Manager Hakan Hayrettin, who this week announced his intention to bring in four new players, has signed Kodi Lyons-Foster on a three-month loan deal from Aldershot.
The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Tottenham and Aston Villa and played for England at under-16 level.
He joined Aldershot from Braintree three years ago and has made more than 120 appearances for the Hampshire club.
The Stones have now received FA and National League approval, meaning he’ll be available for tomorrow’s game against Torquay at the Gallagher.
And after 4-2 and 5-0 defeats by Dorking and Wrexham respectively, it seems likely he'll go straight into the side.
However, he’s unable to play against his parent club on Bank Holiday Monday when Maidstone visit Aldershot.
