Maidstone United came close to an FA Cup upset but have narrowly failed to claim a place in the next round.

The Stones lost 1-0 to AFC Wimbledon in the fourth qualifying round of the cup at Bourne Park on Saturday.

The only goal was scored by Samuel Hatton on 32 minutes.

It means AFC Wimbledon will go into the draw for the first round proper of the competition.
