Maidstone have signed former Charlton and Gillingham midfielder Ollie Muldoon.
Muldoon was offered a deal at the Gallagher in pre-season but had interest from the Football League and Scottish Premiership.
The 23-year-old missed out on a pro move and has joined the Stones on contract until the end of the season, a week after playing for Dover in the Kent Cup.
Muldoon, released by Gills in the summer, could make his debut at Barrow tomorrow.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "Ollie will add some depth to the squad because we're very thin on the ground at the moment.
"He trained with us in pre-season and I made him an offer but he had a few Football League clubs and Scottish Prem clubs in for him, so he was looking along those lines.
"It was one of them where I thought he'd get something but it fell through so we've brought him in and I think he'll add to us.
"He can play anywhere in midfield and at right-back if need be.
"He's got good legs and I just felt he could improve us.
"What he needs now is to settle at a club."
