Maidstone United's painstaking search for a new striker has ended with the signing of Meshach Nugent from Ryman League Division 1 South Dulwich Hamlet.

The arrival of the 24-year-old schoolteacher brings to an end months of patient waiting by club joint-managers Alan Walker and Lloyd Hume who were determined to get the right man.
