Folkestone Invicta have re-signed striker Stuart King from Kent rivals Maidstone United.
Stones boss Jay Saunders released King from his 18-month contract at the Gallagher Stadium, having brought the 25-year-old in from Folkestone last November.
King scored 11 goals in his 25 appearances as a Maidstone player.
He has penned a two-year deal at Cheriton Road and he teams up again with Invicta manager Neil Cugley, who admitted: "It was a bit of shock to get him back so quickly."
Cugley confirmed there had been other clubs interested in signing the striker, whose goals helped Whitstable Town win the Kent League in 2006-07.
King moved on to play for Ramsgate and Herne Bay but it was his prolific record in Folkestone colours - 44 goals in 47 games - which first attracted Maidstone's attention.
Cugley added: "He likes it at Folkestone and I’m delighted to have him back."
