MAIDSTONE United have signed 19-year-old striker Jacob Erskine from Dagenham and Redbridge on a month’s loan.

Joint-manager Alan Walker is also after another Football League striker, but is still waiting on a response.

Erskine is available for Saturday’s match and, should he impress, the League 2 teenager’s loan period can be extended.

Walker said: "I am delighted to get Jacob. He is a big, strong and powerful striker who is highly rated at Dagenham.

"I have watched him a few times playing in the reserves and have been impressed, he will be a good fresh face up front."
