Charley Robertson will be offered a new contract at Maidstone United.
The 18-year-old is back with the Stones after a month's loan at Faversham and came off the bench in the 1-1 draw at East Thurrock on Tuesday night.
He could rejoin the Lilywhites on loan but boss Jay Saunders wants the attacking midfielder to sign a new contract.
Saunders said: Charley's still a massive part of my plans.
"His contract is up at the end of the season and, without doubt, I'll be offering him another one because I think he's got a big future.
"He needs games but he always makes an impact coming off the bench.
"I'm more than pleased with him and I want to keep him.
"It's whether Charley wants to stay but I'm more than happy to give him a new contract."
Robertson scored three goals in an impressive spell at Faversham who are keen to take him back on loan.
Saunders said: "Charley enjoyed getting games at Faversham.
"Over the last two years he's probably had less game time than our other young lads because of the position he plays.
"Faversham are the only club I'm willing to let him go to because he needs to be treated right and I know Ray (Turner, boss) Clive (Walker, assistant) look after him."
