Maidstone's latest signing is worth the wait for head of football John Still.
Ayuk Tarh made his debut as a second-half substitute at Wealdstone on Saturday, months after first training with the club.
International clearance for the Cameroonian player held up a deal but the 26-year-old is finally in business.
Tarh was once signed for a six-figure fee and had been playing in France.
Stones boss Still, speaking after the 2-1 defeat at Wealdstone, said: "Ayuk came to us last year but we couldn’t get his international clearance. It’s only just come through now.
"He’s been training with us - he’s probably not 100% fit, certainly not match fit - but he’s capable of magic things.
"If ever there was a game to put him on, because of how we'd been playing, it was this one.
"He produces some unbelievable moments in training, he really does.
"We needed someone to come up with something and he has got that something.
"We need to get him properly fit as well but we thought we were that far away we might need a magic moment."
Tarh could feature at Dulwich Hamlet tonight while United will check on the fitness of captain George Elokobi (hamstring).
Maidstone must also make a decision on Jonny Edwards, who played at Wealdstone despite losing his dad in the week.
Still and head coach Hakan Hayrettin were guided by Edwards, who wanted to play, but the former Halifax forward was substituted at half-time.
Hayrettin said: “We decided to play Jonny Edwards but he had a bereavement in the family - his father passed away a couple of days ago.
“Maybe he shouldn’t have played but he wanted to play, his team-mates wanted him in and he wanted to give something back in memory of his dad."
It's the Stones' first trip to Champion Hill since the goalless draw in 2015 that effectively clinched the Ryman Premier championship.
