Maidstone boss Jay Saunders won't be surprised if there's interest in Jamar Loza in the January transfer window.
But the former Norwich striker is in no rush to leave and United would like to keep him for the rest of the season.
Saunders, who saw Loza score an outrageous equaliser at Dover on Boxing Day, said: "I think performances like that are going to attract more interest but we’ve been good for him.
"He needed to be playing games and we’ve given him the stage to go and perform.
"He likes the boys, he gets on with everyone and hopefully we can keep hold of him because he is capable of things that a lot of players can’t do.
"There’s no point him going back into the league and sitting in an under-21s team.
"He’s better here playing men’s football and there’s still things he’s got to work on.
"I think the thing for Jamar is possibly that he would like to be full-time training and daytime training.
"I’m finding that with a lot of players we speak to, they want to be daytime training.
"Hopefully we can keep him and he can keep doing well for us."
Maidstone play to Loza's strengths and that could be a big pull if there is a decision to make.
Saunders said: "For us, we want to get him on the ball, we want to give him chances and I think he’s enjoying that.
"I let him go out and express himself but he’s still got jobs to do."
