Maidstone may have scored their goal-of-the-season.
Joe Healy's opening-day strike at Sutton was trumped by a brilliant team effort in the 2-0 win at Maidenhead on Tuesday night.
A flowing move, launched in their own half, carved open the Magpies and ended with Jay May finishing Adam Birchall's cut-back.
The overhead kick from Healy for Maidstone's second goal was pretty special, too, despite Maidenhead protests for a high foot.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "The first goal was a great move.
"We've come out one side, it's not been on, we've played right the way back across, good ball into the box by Matt Bodkin, great touch by Birch and he's hit it back across goal and Jay May's there to finish it off.
"Nicky Southall said on the bench that's probably up there for goal-of-the-season.
"I know we've had Joe Healy's goals but we were very patient, some good movement.
"It was a great goal, as is Joe Healy's, that moment of creativity to get the overhead kick.
"I know they were moaning about it but he's only got eyes on the ball."
Stones are up to eighth in National League South after back-to-back wins.
They knew they had Maidenhead on the ropes when home manager Alan Devonshire made a triple change at half-time.
Saunders said: "You could see they were frustrated.
"It says a lot for our lads to come away from home and dominate the first half like we did and force them into making three changes. I think that tells you how good we were.
"Maidenhead will be up there. I said the same about Havant on Saturday.
"That's another team at this level that's got good players who last year were playing Conference National.
"To come here and put on the performance we did, we deserve a lot of credit for that."
