Tashan Adeyinka struck 13 minutes from time to earn Welling a 2-2 draw at play-off chasing Woking as they bid to claw their way out of the relegation zone.
Welling found themselves in front after just nine minutes, Ross Lafayette heading home from a fine set-piece cross.
Woking levelled from the spot on 52 minutes, Scott Rendall converting before Yemi Odubade fired them in front 16 minutes later.
However Welling weren't finished and Adeyinka popped up with the equaliser to secure what could prove to be a vital point.
The result moved Welling up to 21st place in Vanarama Conference, just six points and one place from safety - with a game in hand - behind Alfreton, who were beaten 4-0 at Wrexham.
The two sides face each other in the penultimate game of the season.
