Welling United ended their long losing streak with a draw at Gateshead on Tuesday night.
Under the caretaker charge of Loui Fazakerley, the Wings made the 600-mile round-trip on the back of eight consecutive defeats in the Vanarama Conference.
They got off to a terrible start at the International Stadium when Alex Rodman put the Heed in front with a goal inside 80 seconds.
But the visitors were given a boost when Rodman was sent off for violent conduct midway through the second half.
With nine minutes remaining, Vose popped up to score his third goal for the club and earn a point which lifted Welling to within three points of safety.
They're away to Lincoln City on Saturday.
