Welling boss Loui Fazakerley has made his first new signing of the summer.
The Wings have snapped up former Havant and Lincoln striker Sahr Kabba on a free transfer.
Fazakerley said: "We've been speaking to him for a couple of weeks now and I'm very happy to have secured his signature.
"I know Kabz well, both personally and from causing us problems when playing against him.
"Matt McEntegart and Paul Barnes (assistant manager and coach) were impressed with his attitude as they didn't know him beforehand and we are all looking forward to working with him next season.
"He brings something completely different. He's a very explosive striker that plays on the shoulder and his pace will cause any defence a problem. I'm confident he will do very well for us next season."
Kabba signed for Lincoln last summer for an undisclosed fee but never got a look-in at Sincil Bank, finishing the campaign at Whitehawk and then Gloucester.
The 26-year-old, who started his career at Millwall, first came to prominence in non-league circles with Weston, which prompted Havant to entice him to Westleigh Park for an undisclosed fee in July 2012. He scored 19 goals for the Conference South outfit two seasons ago, with Lincoln winning the battle for his signature a year ago.
The Wings have already retained Ben Jefford, Sam Corne, Barney Williams, Joe Taylor and Kieron St.Aimie from last season's squad with more players expected to agree new deals shortly.
