Welling have completed the signing of defender Harry Osborne from Championship neighbours Charlton.
Osborne was released by the Addicks at the end of last season, a campaign that he finished on loan at Park View Road.
Welling boss Loui Fazakerley made no secret of his desire to bring Osborne to the club on a long-term basis and he got his wish when the 21-year-old penned a one-year deal on Wednesday afternoon.
Fazakerley said: "I'm very happy to have him on board again. He came in under very tough circumstances and played a massive part in helping us stay up.
"He's very athletic and able to play in multiple positions across the back which is a bonus for us.
"He's got a great attitude and is looking forward to developing his game with Welling next season."
Osborne had two spells on loan at the Wings having spent the first part of last season in Conference South with Sutton. He featured twice under former boss Jody Brown but was sent back to The Valley.
Under the management of Fazakerley, Osborne returned to the Wings and was played more often than not in a central defensive role instead of at right-back. He played eight games in total, scoring once - in the home defeat to Eastleigh on Easter Monday.
Osborne also featured for the Addicks at the end of the season when they won the Kent Senior Cup final at Gillingham.
