Welling have completed the signings of George Porter and Kevin Lokko ahead of the new season.

Both players have featured in pre-season matches against Charlton and Ebbsfleet.

Porter left Maidstone towards the end of last season after joining the Stones from League 2 Dagenham, for whom he featured regularly in the first half of the campaign.

The 23-year-old was previously with Cray Wanderers as a youngster and moved to Leyton Orient while then having spells at Burnley and AFC Wimbledon.

Defender Lokko was released by Colchester last season after failing to make a first-team appearance. He was previously with Norwich as a scholar and has joined the Wings on a one-year deal.

Meanwhile, Welling's home match with Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, September 5 has been moved to a 12.30pm kick-off for live coverage on BT Sport.
