Welling boss Loui Fazakerley has boosted his midfield options by signing Xavier Vidal from Dulwich Hamlet.

The highly-rated Vidal put pen to paper at Park View Road on Thursday. The 21-year-old came through the youth ranks at Dulwich but has regularly been linked with moves into the Football League during his career.

Vidal scored 13 goals from midfield for Dulwich last season and Fazakerley admitted: "I'm very happy to get Xavier on board.

"He's a very talented young player with a lot of potential. He is coming off the back of a very good season with Dulwich, he knows where the net is and has got a good range of passing.

"He has attracted quite a lot of interest from clubs higher up in the past so we are very happy that he has chosen to progress his career with us."
