A car had to be recovered after crashing ending up on its roof on at Snodland.

One lane of the Medway-bound carriageway of the A228 was closed following the accident at 6.45am.

The accident just after Junction 4 for the M20 involved a Ford Fiesta which came to a rest on its roof on the embankment near the roundabout for the RSPCA.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service did attend but were stood down at the scene.

No injuries were reported and the road fully reopened by 7.40am.
