15 guitars stolen from Tonbridge property

Police are appealing for information after a guitar collector returned home from holiday to find his collection had been stolen.

15 instruments were taken from a property in Old Hadlow Road, Tonbridge.

The discovery was made on Wednesday, August 5, when the occupant noticed a window at the side of the house had been forced open.

The kitchen door had also been damaged, and there were signs that the entrance to the lounge had also been tampered with.

Among the items taken was a distinctive Alembic Orion bass guitar valued at £6,000.

The property had been unoccupied since Sunday, July 26.
