Ever thought about joining the Kent Army Cadets?

The Army Cadet Force (ACF) has more than 41,000 cadets in 1,600 detachments all over the country and is one of the biggest and best clubs around.

Being an Army Cadet involves spending your spare time taking part in adventurous activities like rock-climbing, mountain biking, archery and abseiling and of course shooting and field work.

Lt Victoria Robinson said: “OK, so you might end up a little wet and muddy, but wouldn’t you rather be having the time of your life with some great new mates, instead of just sitting in front of a TV or computer alone in your room?”

There is a chance to try out the cadets and see what is on offer at an open evening with the Snodland detachment this Monday (December 4).

Visit the Snodland ACF Centre in Lee Road between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
