An attempted murder investigation is under way after a man was left in a serious but stable condition after reportedly being stabbed.

Police were called to a violent disturbance near Pine Grove and Crouch House Road in Edenbridge, at around midnight yesterday (May 2).

It is reported that three men arrived in a black BMW and assaulted two men who appeared to be known to them.

The suspects then left in the same vehicle, which has since been seized by police.

One man in his 20s suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds.

He was taken to a hospital in London where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A second man, also in his 20s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say no arrests have yet been made.

An attempted murder investigation has been launched by detectives who are keen to speak to anyone with information about what happened.
