Inspectors are assessing the damage after a car crashed into a house in West Malling.

Police were called to the High Street just after 11.30am following a report that a car had driven into the front door of a property.

Witnesses reported seeing crowds gathering around the scene following the crash, in which no injuries were reported.

One shop owner along the High Street said: "A customer came in and told us there'd been a crash and that you could basically see someone's living room."

Zoe Francis, a supervisor at the Five Pointed Star pub, added: "I wasn't there when it happened but just saw it when I went to put the menus out."
