Car carrier hits parked car in London Road, Aylesford, driver from East Malling arrested

A man's been arrested after a car transporter ploughed into a parked car, flipping it onto its roof.

Neighbours say they heard a loud bang after the vehicle hit the back of a silver car on London Road, Aylesford at around 6.45pm on Monday.

Police were called out the scene where a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs.

The suspect was thought to have been under the influence of cannabis.

Six or seven bollards were wiped out by the parked car in the crash.

The crash happened near Holtwood Farm Shop

The suspect, who is from East Malling, has been released pending further enquiries.
