Two comedians are set to get Ditton laughing at a charity comedy night.
Simon Brodkin, of Lee Nelson fame, and Mark Simmons, from Canterbury, are coming to the community centre, on Kilnbarn Road, for an evening of laughs on Sunday, December 1.
The live comedy event has been organised to support the charity Aspire, which helps people with severe spinal cord injuries be more independent.
The organiser, Ben White, of Penenden Court, Maidstone, hopes to bring the community together and raise money towards his £2,000 target.
Prizes on offer range from a bungee jump, a signed Manchester United football from 2019/20, a free two-course meal at Yeti Fusion, in Union Street and an ice skating experience for four in Calverley Grounds, Tunbridge Wells.
The 23-year-old will also achieve his childhood dream of running the London Marathon next year for the charity.
He said: "It’s on my bucket list to help as many different charities as I can in my lifetime. So far I’ve raised money for Help for Heroes, Children in Need, The Rainbow Children’s Trust, Stroke Association and Dementia UK."
People interested in the event can purchase the £12.50 tickets through brodkinandwardtickets2019@yahoo.com
