Fire crews spent more than an hour tackling a container fire in Aylesford last night.

Two engines were called to Beddow Way at 9pm and remained at the scene until just after 10pm.

No one was injured in the blaze, which ripped through a metal drum used for compacting cardboard, and it is not known what caused the fire.
