Firefighters were called just after 4.45pm to reports of grass and undergrowth alight in Long Mill Lane, Plaxtol.
One fire engine attended and crews quickly put the fire out with beaters, in what is the latest of a series of similar incidents following recent dry weather.
Kent Fire and Rescue advises anyone who sees a fire outdoors to report it immediately by phoning 999 and giving the emergency control team as much information as possible, including landmarks such as a local church, pub or school.
Smokers can also help by not dropping cigarette butts from vehicle windows or while out walking.
