Crews were sent to East Peckham today to tackle a lorry fire.

The vehicle caught alight on Seven Mile Lane, near to the A26 roundabout for Mereworth, at around 4am.

The flames were extinguished just before 5am but the HGV is yet to be recovered and one lane is currently blocked.

No injuries have been reported.
