Part of M20 between junction 5 Aylesford and junction 7 Detling has been closed after crash

Drivers were facing delays this afternoon after a crash between a BMW and a lorry.

One lane of the M20 between junction 5 for Aylesford and junction 7 for Detling was closed for around two hours due to the accident.

A crash has caused delays along the M20

Police were called to the incident just before 12.45pm on the London bound carriageway.

No injuries have been reported and the road was cleared just after 3pm.

Highways England asked motorists to drive with caution through the area and not to use closed lanes.
