The distributor link road to junction 6 of the coast-bound carriageway of the M20 is closed today.

It is due to the need for emergency repairs to the barrier leading to the J6 junction with the A229 (Maidstone/Blue Bell Hill) at Aylesford.

Repairs won't be completed until late tonight.

In the meantime a diversion is in place - traffic on the M20 needs to leave at J5, go partly around the Aylesford Interchange roundabout, and rejoin the route for J6.

Drivers should expect some delays.
