A young driver has died after the car he was driving left the road, careered up a steep bank and ended up on its roof.
The 20-year-old man, who has not been named but lived in the Maidstone area, was at the wheel of a Vauxhall Corsa when it left the carriageway and crashed in Aylesford.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses after the vehicle crashed at about 5.40pm yesterday in Pilgrims Way.

Police say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene after his blue Corsa left the carriageway, went up the steep bank and landed on its roof in a nearby field.
He was travelling along Pilgrims Way from Eccles towards Blue Bell Hill at the time.
The road was closed until just after midnight while police carried out an investigation.
Pilgrims Way splits in two between the Bull Lane junction and Rochester Road, which leads on to Blue Bell Hill.
The route branches off into two narrow lanes divided by an elevated area of woodland.
A witness reported cars reversing down Pilgrims Way shortly after the accident, with the crash believed to have happened half way down the single-lane stretch.
DS Scott Lynch said: "This appears to be a single vehicle collision along an isolated lane and we have yet to establish quite why the vehicle left the carriageway.
"I would like to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle driving in the Eccles area beforehand or in the moments before the collision."
