Driver taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital after crashing into parked cars at Sainsbury’s in Aylesford

A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash in a supermarket car park.

The incident happened at Sainsbury's in Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Aylesford, at around 10.45am.

A picture shows two cars pushed off the road and into the bushes.

Police and ambulance crews were both called to the supermarket, where officers confirmed a car “collided with parked vehicles”.

An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “We were called at approximately 10:45am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision in Sainsbury’s car park in Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Aylesford.

“Crews arrived on scene and one person has been taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for further medical treatment.”
