A "Hollywood-style" film crew was spotted at Kings Hill Cricket Club, Kings Hill, near Maidstone, today.

Observers reported seeing a number of trucks and vans as the crew filmed at the picturesque sports venue.

One twitter user described seeing a "huge Hollywood-style film crew" on the green before asking: "What they filming?"

Kings Hill Cricket Club went some way towards solving the mystery, revealing via their Facebook page that a "large motor company" was filming a television advert.

However, they were remaining tight-lipped about which company it was, saying client confidentiality prevented them from revealing any more details.

The club has been approached for a comment.
