Snodland man arrested at Heathrow Airport for right-wing terror offences

A Snodland man has been charged with right-wing terror offences.

George Fowle, of Lucas Road, was arrested in June at Heathrow airport on suspicion of possessing material likely to be used when committing or preparing to commit an act of terrorism.

He was arrested in June

The 19-year-old was stopped by officers under the Terrorism Act and was later charged following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East.

He will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court on Monday, January 6.

The news comes after detectives in West Midlands have been given more time to quiz a man in connection with two Syria-related terrorism offences.
