The M20 was blocked after an accident involving four cars on the M20 near J3 this afternoon.

The crash happened within the last hour and traffic just before the sliproad onto the M26 westbound.

Motorists were briefly held on the Londonbound carriageway while crews moved the vehicles onto the hard shoulder and inspected damage to the safety barrier.

Traffic is now flowing again and delays are beginning to ease, though emergency services remain at the scene.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured.
